"Late Night Thursdays" continue in Dexter
Wednesday, November 19, 2003
DEXTER - Dexter Regional Development Corporation would like to remind you that many of Dexter's Main Street and area businesses are supporting the new initiative to stay open until at least 7 pm on Thursday evenings. The first week of "Late Night Thursdays" was very successful and will continue through the end of the year and see how it goes.

By remaining open late on Thursdays, Dexter residents who normally don't have the opportunity to do business during the regular daytime operating hours, now have an extra 2 to 3 hours to shop. You can also register your car, etc. at the Town Office and/or visit other service oriented businesses that participate.

Participating businesses to date are, Dexter Print Shop, Brick Alley Ice-Cream Parlor & Gifts, Country Charm Gifts on Lower Main Street, Renys, Olmsteds Printing & Townsend Jewelers, Dexter Town Office, Mr. Paperback, Rent-A-Center, Tillson True Value and Radio Shack, Scavengers Discount, Dollar Store, Toots, Dexter Variety, Buds Shop'n Save, Misty Blue Tack Shop out on the Shore Road, Dexter Cafe, P & L Market, Babcock's Collectables & Gifts, Lakeshore Lunch, China Garden.

DRDC, local officials & business owners invite and encourage other Dexter businesses and services to stay open longer on Thursdays. If you are a business or service in Dexter and would like to join this initiative and be added to this list, please contact Judy Wilbur Craig, 924-3067 or email.

Please show your support and shop locally.
