The Annual Dexter Firemen's Auction will take place Thursday, August 3rd through Saturday, August 5th. The auction held in conjunction with the Dexter Wild West Celebration, will take place from 6 to 9 PM on Thursday and Friday and from 6 to sell-out on Saturday. This year the auction is held at the parking lot of the Watering Hole, the old Dexter Shoe Building located on Water Street in Dexter.

The Dexter Sports Boosters will be serving food at the auction all three evenings.

The 2nd Annual Rubber Ducky River Race will be held Saturday at "high noon"
Buy your Rubber Duck ticket for $5 and on Saturday the fire fighters will put all the ducks in Sebasticook stream at the old Abbott Mill area dam. We will see what duck makes it to the Center St. area first. If it's your duck # you win!
