Business Decorating Contest (Click here for photos):
1st Place: Blackwell Insurance, whose entrance deco was pretty subtle. But look at this tribe inside their office and at their Indian dress. They even replaced their desk name plates with their Indian names. Blackwell also had artifacts, rain sticks for sound effects, and several Indian recipes to entice the judge!!!! Must have known I have a sweet tooth. (Although I do think those tasty little puffs with the honey and powdered sugar looked a lot like Mexican sopapillas, not Indian food!!!)
2nd Place: Country Charm, who constructed a new facade out front, and wore long country dresses despite the heat.
Honorable mentions went to Premier Video with their great window paintings and to the School District special ed office for their sweet window.
